ITW has a proud history of technological innovation and in order to extend the tradition to China, ITW established the Asia Technology Center (ATC) in Shanghai in 2008. The Asia Technology Center thus stands at the heart of ITW’s innovative ethos and puts to practice the company’s desire to contribute to technological advancement through high-level innovation for China and Asia as a whole.
The Asia Technology Center’s vision is to be recognized as a technology hub that provides world-class scientific and technological support to ITW’s growth in China and across the Asian region while its mission is divided into three main categories: 1) work with its business units on new product introduction and development; 2) provide marketing consultation services to ITW’s business units to help them achieve a better and more in-depth understanding of customers’ requirements; and 3) provide technical services to ITW’s business units in Asia.
